Description
A hand-embroidered Suzani throw with kantha stitching. Suzani refers to an embroidered tribal textile originally made in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and other central Asian countries. Suzanis were traditionally made by Central Asian brides as part of their dowry, and were presented to the groom on the wedding day. Our Suzanis are made in India with wool embroidery on a cotton base cloth.
