Description
The jutti or Punjabi Jutti is a type of footwear common in North India. Made traditionally of leather, they were inspired by Indian royalty over 400 years ago. They have no right or left distinction and over time take the shape of the foot, becoming as comfortable as a pair of slippers. Ours are made of pure silk or cotton and leather, embellished with beads, embroidery or bells, and come in a variety of colours. Times have changed and although they remain a part of ceremonial attire they are now used for everyday use. We love how our juttis spruce up a pair of jeans or go beautifully with a simple, sweet dress.
